06 Liberty CRD Tune Chip?

Anyone in a position to advise best plug and play tune chip for my CRD? Looks like quite a few on the market. Mine runs and drives great but in the event i need to jump on throttle, I'm seeing black smoke exhaust that leads me to believe all injected fuel is not being burned at that time. Wondering if a tune chip and high flow K&N filer would resolve that problem? As long as I ease into throttle under normal driving conditions, I do not see that condition
