I have a 2012 Laredo that's done a bit over 120,000k's. Had it since new and so far loved it with no problems, but, not long ago I experienced the engine and Electronic Throttle Control lights coming on and the engine going into limp mode. This lasted a couple of days then went away. Then just as it was due for service it came back so told the jeep dealer to check at the service. Apparently they cleaned the carbon out and when it came out of service took it for 2,000km round trip with no problems but then last week it came back. Sent it back to dealer and they have told me that the DPF needs replacing and exhaust parts all up for about $10k. We have had warranty then extended warranty the whole time and they are saying that it does not cover this.
