Newbie here. Needed to reach out before I pull my hair out. I'm in Annapolis and needed to bounce my issue off the diesel community. Here is what I wrote on a dif thread. Someone..anyone..ideas or help please :)

I have 2014 as well. Had the cat replaced shortly after buying it. So since then it's been nothing but problems. I literally just went through my invoices and I have 11 different ones where each one it was there for the check engine light being on. Since election day it has been in the shop 4 times for the light coming on. I have had the def heater replaced 3 times. And now the light is BACK on. I'm so tired of dealing with this. I don't know what to do. I'm down here in Annapolis and they don't have many ppl who can work ok diesels. The jeep just hit 40k miles and I'm so frustrated. I love my GC other then the issues. I don't want to get rid of it but idk what to do I am going to copy all the work orders and write Chrysler. Last time it was in the shop the code that is on is P05ED-00 they said they scanned comp found that code. Performed electrical test contacted star everything tested good. Reset def pump and heater control circuit and road tested. After they did that it hasn't even been 1 month and it's back on. Anyone ideas?

11 times at the shop for the same issue? That could be a lemon.
If I was in your situation with all the emission equipment problems, I'll do full delete.
This GDE tune deletes the emission issues: Off-Road Tuning means full delete option
This will be only other equipment needed: JEEP WK2 ECODIESEL OFF ROAD PIPE
All above means, I'll have no more DEF problems or refills.
Downside: with this setup, my jeep will not pass emission test (thankfully they don't test where I live) and engine warranty will be voided

2014 JGC Diesel has 100K warranty on the Power Train, so the engine issues should be covered. Also I had multiple issues with the check engine light coming on all the time and finally the dealer was able to diagnose the issue to a loose Oxygen sensor and replaced it under warranty. No issues since then.
