Guys,

I just noticed today that my Jeep when I started it today was rough idling. I got out of my driveway and through the neighborhood and felt like I was driving a bus. Only when I got to the main road and gave the engine a bit of stick that it started to sound smooth. I took it for a 20 mile errand around town on a freeway and it performed flawlessly. All systems were fine ... no check engine light or warnings. I had about quarter of tank of Diesel from my local gas station that I always fill up from. It was mid afternoon when I started the Jeep and the temp was in mid 90s Any ideas ?

Regens start and continue at speed. I have had mine for 38,000 miles and regens have been totally transparent...... except for the first few in which a slight odor was noted. Which I accredit to the "new" burning off. If you question the integrity of the fuel you are using, have an independent party check it. One that keeps no records and deals with cash. If yes drain, few gallons, drain, 1/4 tank drive. If problem continues.... full tank drive ..... warranty. Do not use the same station. Just my thoughts.

Thanks for the info guys. I am wondering if I can kick off a regen cycle manually ? The reason I am asking is because I am going to be taking the Jeep on a 500m+ roadtrip and if I have ability to kick it off when I am underway, the cycle will be completed in an optimal manner.
