I'm new to Jeeps and just picked up JGC 3.0 4x2 ; I drive 30k miles per year 98% was in 2WD on my last vehicle.

1. Does this have air suspension?
2. Differential it says is "conventional" ; so 1 wheel spinner? Sounds very un jeep like, it worked fine in 3" snow fall we had last night, traction control buzzed a couple times.

Perhaps could put in a Eaton Trutrac, it says this is a 8.9" ring gear 225mm rear axle, is it shared with other Jeep vehicles?

:)

In order...

1. Quadra-Lift air suspension and Selec-Terrain traction control systems are only available on the 4X4. In lieu of that there is a load leveling rear suspension if you have the Trailer Tow Group IV.

2. It's a conventional rear differential. LOL... the only thing un-Jeep like is it being a 4X2. At least you know your traction control works. :)

I couldn't tell you if this differential is shared with other Jeep vehicles, or how well a limited slip or locking diff mod would work with the factory traction control system.
