AEM Software Fix/Settlement and Exhaust Filter 100% Full

I took my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel (89k miles) in for the AEM software update the end of July. While we were out of town this weekend, the car stated the Diesel Exhaust Filter is 100% Full and stated it needed to be taken to the dealer. It went into limp mode and would not go over 40mph at this point. I can't help but think these 2 things are related. I saw in another forum that someone else had this issue, but there was no follow-up and the thread was about another issue. Has anyone else had this issue? What was your outcome? luckily, we were in the middle of nowhere and the town had a jeep dealership. It is there now, but due to the 3-day weekend, they just opened back up this morning and cant get to it for a day or so.

I had the update done about 1k miles ago in early august. For 60,000 miles of driving i have had no issues. Until this weekend - which happened to be 3 weeks after the AEM update. It threw the diesel exhaust filter warning and a "Service Electronic throttle control" accompanied by extreme delays in shifting, and it takes a couple of miles to get up to highway speed. pulling into traffic is a no go. Dropped it at my dealer last night after work. we shall see.
Our jeep ran perfectly prior to the AEM software update. Now it hesitates badly until totally warmed up, which it never use to do. Also now it has what seems to be turbo lag whenever accelerating especially when you punch it. has anyone tried to have theirs reset back to factory specs.

It happen to me too, after reset 2 months later ext system stopped up again. Had it repaired this time replaced many parts, but after this repair then check engine light came on as more parts failed including cat! Jeep is running slower and mileage has dropped from high of 34.4 to 23.6. This should be buy back but nobody wants to talk about it. If I did not owe on this jeep I would get rid of it tomorrow.

My 2015 GC was updated with the new software. There was an immediate drop in mileage from maybe 25-26mpg hwy. to 22-23. The pick-up is now horrible with a long turbo lag till it kicks in at ~2000rpm (I seem to recall previous turbo start at ~1700). 3000rpm may not sound like much until you are starting from a full stop at an intersection, then it is a lifetime.

As "geoo" noted - this should be a buy back. These are not the vehicles we bought or expected - even with the 'hush' money from FCA. How do we start this?

Same issue, same thing cady. Now in shop for new intake manifold and then they are going to deal with the dpf issue. Probably won’t see it back till after Christmas and it’s been in the shop 2 weeks already.

This is the 4th time since the software update. It's January 1st, we are 720 miles from home, and hope that the local Jeep dealer can fix this when they open tomorrow. The MPG has gone from 32.7 to 28.6 highway; 26.8 to 22.1 city. I now buy DEF every other week. Performance is so bad I don't try to tow anything but an empty trailer. FCA has to fix these issues or buy this vehicle back. It was near-perfect for 130,000 miles until the update. Ugh!
Same exact thing with ours! 90,000 on the clock with very little issues then the AEM. I have already been in contact with MRTuning and when we get it back, it will get tuned and EGR turned OFF.
Neuwirth Jeep in Wilmington was fantastic! Brand new GAS Grand Cherokee loaner; had my GC back within 2 hours. They did a manual regen and the sensor reset itself. Hope it lasts until I can return to Indiana.
