Hi everybody. We did about a 500 miler roundtrip camping trip towing our 5000lb camper behind the Jeep thru the mountains of Northern Maine. I wanted to report no issues whatsoever. I kept the speeds low, did 60 out on the Turnpike and usually had it in 7th gear or 8th on flats and downhills. 7th gear at 60 gives 2000rpm. I used the paddleshifters frequently vs letting the computer decide when to shift. Fuel economy was a tad over 20 mpg! I ll take it! My Tundra could barely get over 16 empty and not towing anything! So far so good. Passed the 20,000 mile mark on this trip too!

My son's 2007 GJ V8 developed transmission shift problems so he used our 15 Overland EcoDiesel to pull his tent trailer to our family reunion over the 4th of July weekend. He said that unlike his GJ he couldn't even feel the trailer behind him . The trip was only about 300 miles with a climb of 4000 feet (the ranch is at 8000 feet AGL). Mileage was only about 22 mpg for the trip. We had 179 stay overnight on the 3rd.
