I worked with Chux Trux here in KC to do an instructional video of the Banks Bullet on my Jeep Grand Cherokee. I also reached out to Banks after this to point out issues with the installation instructions. Banks quickly took a look and rewrote the installation guide.

This product coupled with my AFE cold air intake and Banks Monster Exhaust has really woke up my diesel.

What sequence did you install all these items? I was considering the Banks exhaust and a CAI first and then eventually moving to a tuner. Just wondering if you were able to notice any difference with the exhaust and intake alone.

I installed the CAI first and didn't notice anything. Second was the exhaust and after that I noticed quicker throttle response with the subtraction of turbo lag and 4 more MPG. The programmer just took all that and made it better. It plants you in the seat when you have it in Sport mode.

Thanks! I noticed AFE makes 3 different intakes (AFE 51, 54 & 75). Do you know what the difference is in these? The spec sheets online seem to be identical, except for the filter type. Looks like you got the AFE 51.

There are 3 filter types that you can get which that number identifies. I have the dry filter, so you don't have to use any oil with it after you clean it.

Any update on your Jeep and the banks system? I'm looking to add the exhaust to my 2015 3.0D.

I installed the banks exhaust & ive had to adjust it every 6 months. Between vibrations & now it wants to slip off the rubber hangers. I purchased the bullet, but haven't installed yet.
That's disheartening to hear about having to readjust. For the price they are asking you'd think It would be a perfect fit without issues. Banks usually has a good reputation as well.
