I have a 2014 GC Summit Diesel that has the older UI on the uconnect. However, the website says I have no available updates.

is it still possible to flash the system with the newest of the new, has anyone tried, has anyone been successful or failed?

I think you’d need the physical model which is possible via third party.

If you're willing to fork over some dough, I'd recommend upgrading to the 2018+ Uconnect unit. It's a very nice update if you use CarPlay or Android Auto and will make your 2014 feel new again. Sorta.
