Just bought a 2015 JGC Diesel and would like to change the cabin and air filters. I went on the Mopar site and saw that both the replacement air and cabin filters are made specific for the Diesel engine.

For the people that changed these filters, can you advise if this process is different from doing the same on a gas engine. I've found instructions on how to change on gas engines, but can't find anything for diesel.

I went with K&N air filters on both. Only thing I noticed with the cabin air filter is the lack of charcoal mesh which cut down on odor. I notice a crappy car in front of me spewing out black smoke or a smoker at a red light more noticably than with the charcoal filter. For the engine intake filter I had a noticeable pep to acceleration. Easy to clean and reuse, I'm sticking with the K&N...

I know that isn't answering your diesel/gas dilemma but another option for the expensive "Mo' money par" products.
