I am getting fed up with mine. Have had it only 1 year. Halloween, while driving on the freeway out of town, my MIL came on. Well scared the crap out of me. Husband said go to nearest Jeep dealership to see if they can help. Needless to say, they were worthless and not helpful at all after I had to go in and SEARCH for a Service Adviser. Ended up calling my dealership where we purchased it, talked to a nice SA and he said as long as it wasn't blinking, it was good to drive until I could get it into their shop that following Monday. I did as little driving as possible while out of town and it was on when I drove home. I made one stop and came back out and the light was no longer on any more. Still took it into the dealership for that issue, as well as they didn't reset the Oil Change indicator. They checked codes, they did this and that. Updated the software and said you are good to go. Well, they didn't reset the darned oil change indicator. And When I got on the freeway Saturday afternoon, at highway speeds, the danged MIL came on again. Stayed on until I got to work this morning. It was not on when I went to lunch.

This is just frustrating. I can't afford to continually drop it off the shop, have my hubby run me to work and come get me when we work in the opposite directions. And I kinda like my job so I really don't need to miss work or be late.

I am so so so so disappointed in this vehicle. Of every single new car I have ever bought I have NEVER had issues at all.

After four trips in as many weeks to the dealer for the MIL issue, they FINALLY determine that they have to replace the catalytic converter. Okay.. No biggie.. Yeah. it was on backorder. And do you think that the dealership will CALL us when it's in? I have to do all their legwork.

So we get that scheduled to be changed out this coming Monday. And then on Wednesday we added the DEF because I needed it. Hubby got the right stuff; we checked. What do we get? Incorrect DEF see dealer error.

If this replacement catalytic converter doesn't work, I am going to have to really really stand my ground with the hubby and get another vehicle.
