Just to share my experience FWIW... Bought the JGC ED in March. The VA dealer delivered it with a full tank of DEF. Topped the DEF tank, in June with about 5k miles, at a Flying J in KY bulk pump dispenser for $2.79/gal. A FL dealer accomplished an oil service and tire rotation at about 8k miles. Oil service was one of four in four years provided free by MOPAR to reimburse the dealer. No DEF or related fuel issues encountered to date. Guess I'm lucky so far.

Manual states "do not" top it off (due to shelf life). Best to use it down and refill it to keep it fresh.
