In last 3 months I have had 4 separate occasions where I have received "BRAKE" warning in RED on the dash, when there was nothing in front of me and on 2 occasions, the car computer actually applied brakes. I am not sure why this happened but it is jarring experience when it does happen. Has anyone else has experienced this issue with their car equipped with collision mitigation ?

Thanks ... this helps a lot. I probably will check if my Jeep's FCW sensor is misaligned.
