Has anyone else had this problem. I have a new JGC 2015 my dealer is trying to tell me I messed up my diesel fuel pump because of my def. I used the wrong def isn't def... def? I have 39,000 miles. I drive a ton for work. I got the car back 24 hours ago and my check engine light is back on. My dealership obviously has no clue to what they are doing or saying. Anyone out their can help me so when I go there tomorrow I can tell them what to do. Oh and also they tried to charge me $108 for 2qt of def witch was a total joke. I live in Long Island, NY Service at Westbury Jeep

Sounds like they are saying 'you put DEF into your fuel tank' ! No way can DEF mess up your fuel system since it is injected into the CAT! You can buy 2 1/2 gallon jug for less than $20!
! RUN - DON'T WALK FROM THAT DEALER !

DEF is sold at most diesel islands around me for about the same price as diesel ($2.39-$2.89 a gallon). OTR trucks use this day in and day out and logged millions of miles with it.

Sucks to hear about your dealer, but DEF is DEF. I have never heard ofrom any being better than the other? But I'd say they are trying to give you the run around.

$108 for 2 gallons!! Did it take the service technician 2 hours to do that?

What ever happened? Ours is doing the same thing.
