I think settlement is unfair. Those of us (mine was 2014 JGC) who put up with years of DEF issues, waiting for new cat installation, constant MIL illumination, cylinder head replacements, etc we get the lowest offer just because we unloaded a vehicle that was always giving problems. Additionally I purchased the extended warranty ($2100.00) which now is free to current owners and they get the biggest settlement $$$$$$.

You don't have to accept the settlement..... I've received letters from several lawyers happen to help me sue FCA. (I chose to accept the settlement - I still have the vehicle and it hasn't had issues with the DEF system)

The extended warranty included in the settlement is NOT a bumper to bumper warranty. It's for everything effected by the AEM flash which is mostly emissions related.

BTW, settlement was approved Friday (5/3/2019) & is open for filing claims to start the process.
