Had ecodiesel software installed on my 2015 JGC in June due to recall and nothing but problems since - and I never had any issues with my JGC ever! MIL light and flashing lighting bolt came on right after Westgate Jeep installed software. Took it back to Leith in Cary NC who I bought car from and they had to put on a new particle filter aka catalytic converter ($3,000). Drove for another 150 miles and BAM MIL on again! Back at Leith dealership now for 2 days waiting on diagnostics. The software claims it will not impact the drivability of the car, the performance, etc but that has not been my experience. Only have 55,000 miles on this car!

I think you’ll see in the other thread several of us are having this same experience. My 14 is at the dealership a 4th time after the emissions software was installed.

In order:
* Replaced the SCR, the DPF and particulate matter sensor.
* Cleaned the DEF injector
* Performed a SCR “healing process”
* Awaiting diagnostics

The dealership flat out told me last week they don’t know what else to do to fix it and opened a STAR case with Chrysler engineering. It has 51,000 miles on it now. In each case after the fix, the vehicle was driven about 100 miles before the check engine light came on, except for the last time where it went 500.

Had the same problem. Spoke to the corporate office to file a file number and they told me they are aware of the issue and don't have a solution at this time. So I guess I'll just drive around with a check engine light and screw the environment too. Not to mention I wasted weeks of time in and out of the dealership on repairs that had no solution.
