Guys,

I have a 2014 Grand Cherokee Overland Diesel I purchased in May of 2014. My problems started in September when the check engine light came on. I took it to the dealership and they said there was a problem with the EGR not holding a vacuum seal. They replaced the EGR and within a month the check engine light came back on again. Took it back and same problem.

I'm now sitting in a rental with my Jeep having been at the dealership having the EGR problem fixed for the 5th time. My Jeep has been at the dealership for 11 days now.

I'm not convinced I don't have a lemon but this is beyond irritating. Has anyone else had any similar problems?

Sorry to hear about these issues.
I have not encountered this particular problem, only the def problems and awaiting the Cat replacement thus far. My vehicle is also at the dealer and supposed to be ready monday with a new catalytic converter. My dealer in northern va gave me a loaner to drive. It's been there over a week awaiting for parts....

What dealership did you purchase your vehicle from? I have a defective EGR valve and engine hose after 150 miles driving. 2015 Jeep GC diesel straight from factory on December 19th, 2014.
