I am looking for some advice and/or suggestions from fellow Jeep owners. Any help would be much appreciated. I own a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel. I purchased it new and now have 54,000 miles on it. My Jeep overheated over Mother's Day weekend and after having it towed to a local dealership learned that I needed to replace the EGR system cooler. (Part #68239570AC) The good news was that it was covered under an emissions warranty, but the bad news was that it wouldn't be shipped until the end of the month. May 31st came and went without the part. I have been assigned a "customer service rep" out of Detroit who proceeded to tell me that the part wouldn't be available until August 18th. She called back a day later to share that she had expedited the shipment to August 10th. (no joke) She has offered me $35 per day for rental car which doesn't get me a jeep. 3 months for a part on a car that is 3 years old doesn't seem right. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
