I have 42,000 miles on my '14 JGC Diesel. For the last few days, I have thrown a P0128 code, although it went away this morning.

Computer reads that it is a faulty Engine Coolant Thermometer, although I am getting thermometer read outs on the dash, and now no issues on the code either...

Any experience on this from other folk? Only issues I've had since I bought it all revolve around the Diesel Filter. I had to replace the Catalytic Converter about 6 months ago after repeated refusal to regen the system. Otherwise all happy.

No responses? I'm having the same issue with that code. The Thermostat was already replaced and the temp gauge is in the middle. Is there a different temperature sensor besides the one by the thermostat (which is tied to the gauge)?

I had that dozens of times....Dealer reset code dozens of times and I replaced the thermostat. No help. The dealer finally recommended a HOTTER thermostat but FCA does not offer them. I went on-line and FIAT (engine) DOES have a 206 degree thermostat which has finally CURED the problem(y):D
