Fender Flare Detachment

1351 Views 3 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  MFD
Several weeks ago there was a post concerning a failure of the adhesive that attaches the fender flare moulding on the outer wheel wells. At that time I had recently had mine repaired with a different adhesive which has now failed again. Are there others out there with this same issue; and if so, how has the repair held up? Of course, this is not a major issue, and there would seem to be a relatively simple fix. Any suggestions?

I used a 3m molding tape so far it hold pretty well. Just make sure the surface is well cleaned before installing the fender flare. Or you can always just replace it with aftermarket flares like Bushwackers fender flare

Thanks, I'll try the tape.

Also, I infer from the limited response to my inquiry, this fender flare issue is rather uncommon.
