I had a very weird experience today in JGC Diesel Summit. I had the forward collision warning system turned on (location was set far vs near and auto brake thing was on). I was driving through a basic four light intersection and the nearest car ahead was probably 75 yds and I have many cars right behind me. All of a sudden the warning system alerted me to brake. Of course I didn't because I had a green light. Then the car started to brake. First the braking was minor and then more forceful. I kept hitting the accelerator and finally the brake released. At the next stop light I changed the system from far to near and eliminated the auto braking feature. Any thoughts??

I didn't have that problem but the system is definitely sensitive. Driving through the neighborhood recently a couple of quail crossed in front of the vehicle and I got the visual display warning. I think the vehicle was starting to brake too but I didn't want to hit them so I was pretty quick on the brakes so don't really know.
