purchased my jeep yesterday in a state that requires drivers to have a front plate. Went back today to have the truck detailed and asked the guy to remove the bracket since i wont be needing it and find out that it was drilled into the bumper with self tapping screws, WTH!!
Come on Jeep you telling me that in 2014 you guys couldnt of engineered a better way of incorporating holes in the front bumper for a license plate bracket? My 2007 TL had to holes in the front bumper for a bracket that when it wasnt required could be covered up but matching color blank offs.
Now i'm stuck with a bracket i dont need till i either buy another bumper or have a body shop fill in the holes and repaint it.
