I just saw this and just happened to have my oil changed the other day. Receipt from the dealer says they added 5w40.

Everything seems fine except for I've noticed my avg mpg (around town) has dropped from 19.5 to 17.5. I did a reset and after 15 miles in the city I'm hovering in the 14's. not sure if this is related..

I saw it and did the change on my last oil change(i do my oil changes myself). I haven't really noticed any fuel economy drop offs. It stayed about the same. 27.5 but I'm running a little larger tires than the stock goodyear crap that came on it.

I've seen this bulletin on the internet,it looks like its for the 2016 model I never recived anything from Jeep? Should I stay with 5/30 or switch to 5/40? Mine is a 2015. If I switch I'll use Amsoil Sig series HD diesel 5/30

The dealerships have been changing to 5W40 I think regardless of model year. The last time I had mine in (2014) for an oil change, the dealership switched it to 5W40 without me asking them to or even mentioning the TSB. I think others here have reported similar experiences.
