Jeep Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel 2014, 8.4an NAV Ent Unit upgrade

Reading through FCA announcement that JGC Model year 2017 will support Android Auto and Apple Car Play, I am intrigued about how someone could swap the old unit for a newer unit as the unit form factor looks exactly the same as current 2014-16 8.4an units.

Easier and cheaper to swap out Nav Units than the car :)
