I just order a 2014 JGC Summit with the Diesel motor. I had three options to pick; 1) Engine Heater 2) CD Player 3) DVD Player. I picked the engine heater and did not want the other two. I just want to make sure I am not missing any other options. It is my understanding this trim package comes with the trailer receiver and all wiring etc.. I guess I don't want any surprises.

It' is my understanding that the tow packet is standard with the 4x4 Summit and an option with the the 4x2 Summit. I'm guessing you did not go with the 4x2. 4x4 seems to be assumed on this forum and hardly ever mentioned in post.

Yes I ordered the 4x4.

I had gotten a brochure from the rack at the dealer but I thought it was at best misleading. Nor did I think the salesman was really up on what all was or wasn't included. So when I get mine I'm sure there will be a few things I didn't plan on along with some not there that I had. I printed out the configured vehicle Standard features list and there are some 5 sheets of items listed... so perhaps there is more faith here than is warranted.

Casper when did you place your order and have you received any confirmation of the build process? Any idea from order placement to taking it home?

The 23rd of November... I believe it takes about two weeks to get a number that can be tracked through production. So next week I will check on that. But the Holidays are consuming so much of my time... Probably mid Jan. I have secured one loan @2.9 but will have time to look for better.

I now have my VIN and can track. I was under the impression it would be e-mailed but that didn't happen. So just out of curiosity I called my salesman. So it took less than 8 days to enter Production. I don't know why I did not get an e-mail like I was supposed to. I will post if I get one But I'm thinking that's not going to happen.
