For reasons unknown my 2014 diesel GC was dead this morning. Couldn’t even lock the doors with the fab or door button. Anyway I have been trying to jump it with my wife’s Yukon but it’s not working. I do have some power in the Jeep now but it doesn’t try to turn over and and I get a can’t detect key fab message. Does it take a really long time to jump it? Does waiting longer help or does revving the charging/boosting engine help? Will jumping this way ever work?

Low battery voltage will cause all kinds of unexpected problems.
If this is the original battery at 5 to 6 years old, it has most likely collapsed and cannot accept a charge. Just replace the battery and all the issues should disappear...
