Hi all,

Has anyone successfully changed the linkage of the key fob from driver 1 to 2 settings? I can't seem to get the instructions to work. I have keyless entry.

Supposedly, with the car in the "off" position, you're supposed to set everything the way you want. Press the "S" button, the driver assignment button, then press the lock the door button to assign the key fob to that driver. Are you supposed to press and hold the lock button for a period of time? I wonder if I'm pressing and releasing too fast.

Also, has anyone figured out a hack to eliminate the signature "sent by my Jeep" from text messages? I don't like it, esp. on business texts. Contacted UConnect, and they say "no".

Thank you!

Actually, you're supposed to have the ignition in the ON/RUN position (engine not running). See page 158 of your owner's manual.

Before programming the key fob you need to go into your U-Connect system screen and select "Memory to FOB". See page 159.

I'm not aware of any hacks to eliminate the text message signature.
