Hi Everyone,

Looking to purchase a 2016 JGC Diesel (High Altitude). I'm curious if anyone can confirm if the Grand Cherokee has lane departure warning or not. It's listed in the manual as "if equipped" and the instructions for its use are there. The jeep website doesn't list Lane Departure in available safety features and I can't find anyone who can actually confirm it's existence in a production vehicle. A lot of websites (such as edmunds and other similar car sites) list the lane departure warning as a feature for JGC since 2014.

Any insight would be appreciated!

My 2014 Overland has it. I think it's standard. You can always call the dealership and ask.

That was not a feature available on my 2015 JGC 4x4 Diesel Overland.

I don't have it on my '15 Canadian Overland neither. Must be packed in an optionnal group option.

To my knowledge the lane departure, blind spot detection and auto stop function are part of an option package. I had on my most Recent GC Overland. I learned the other day that it's standard on the Summit.

My '14 Overland doesn't have it and I don't think it was an option. Just adaptive cruise and the blind spot monitoring, both of which I doubt I can ever live without again.

I've searched through the Settings menu and checked the option descriptions on my 2016 Overland with the Advanced Technology Group; it does not have lane departure.
