So they reached a “proposed settlement” today on the class action suit. Anybody else reading up on it?
Recall, software upgrades that supposedly don’t affect mpg, and payments to owners and lessees. But most interesting to me - an extended warranty!!! I just renewed my warranty on Dec 28th because I don’t trust this vehicle and repairs have been so big, so if I can cancel that while still in the 60 day grace period, even better!

I wonder when and how “proposed” becomes official, and when the warranties kick in.

I have a Ram w/ ED also & follow forum over there. Guys are saying not much change in MPG, but the throttle response is lacking. If I had 1 complaint, it would be the throttle response. I can't imagine it getting much worse.

I had the recall done 2 days ago on my Jeep. So far, I really have not noticed anything different from before. Acceleration seems like it was before. Haven’t really driven far enough to notice fuel economy or DEF consumption changes.

I had my software update yesterday and am very aware of my eco diesel because I have been monitoring the computer for 6 months now with my Bluedriver scanner. So far no real effects even though I heard a lot of posts about better response. I did immediately notice my scanner reacted like a total computer reboot and download had happen. Plus the dealer had it idling for 1 hour and did a manual regen even though mine had went through a regen just before I dropped it off. So I will post more in the next few days....because it was also do for a plate renewal and when I took it in the service center I took it to they said I had to drive it for a few days because it needs time to re-learn itself, so I know my bluedriver scanner was dead on. I have 113,000 mile on it and I received a sheet when I picked it up stating what will be covered forward...which is all the emissions components. The FCA is a little confusing so I am going to call them on the warranty. The way I read it was, that they would update it until it reached 120,000 miles. Once updated the emissions would be warrantied for another 48000 miles. Also I am having troubles with the forms submitting. I have submitted everything, but they keep coming back for more. Make sure if you scan it in, do not scan it sideways. They will reject it. Also, since when don't Chrysler dealers do an emissions test?? I will be running back and forth between them and a service center that does....what a pain.
