Navigation and rear camera display issues

So once again, my Nav screen has me in another city as opposed to where I really am. Also, my rearview camera, my green, yellow and red lines have disappeared. The guide lines that move with your steering wheel...are gone. Anybody have any ideas? Frustrated at all the little things that are beginning to happen with my GC. 45,000 miles on it, fuel economy is no better than 25mpg.

I checked TSB's and couldn't find anything. Some suggested 'turning grid lines on and off' a few time in the 'settings menu' - or get Uconnect re-flashed:

"I had this problem as well, however it seemed to resolve itself on its own. Last thing I remember, I toggled the grid lines on and off a couple of times, and it was around then that I last remember not actually having the grid lines On.

I don't know if it was messing with the settings that did it or not.

Have you tried re-flashing your UConnect unit? The dealer recently reflashed mine due to numerous issues I was having and it seemed to fix most/all my problems. I could have done it myself but at the time my VIN was not registered on the uconnect site".
I had to reflash mine I guess about a year ago because the navigation software kept crashing and restarting itself while navigating. Haven't had a problem with it since then.

The other thing you can try is rebooting the radio while the vehicle is on. You can do this by pushing in both the radio and tuning knobs at the same time and holding them until the screen goes black and the Jeep logo is redisplayed. I had to do this once or twice when the incoming text message announcement stopped all the sounds from working. That also hasn't happened in a very long time.
If I understand correct, you mean pushing the "Mute" and "Browse" buttons at the same time and hold them?

Happened to me a few times the screen would lock and not display any app, no music, no backup camera, nothing. It would reset itself if I didn't drive the vehicle for a moment...

Yes, sorry, I did mean the Mute button and Browse button. If you push and hold these both in at the same time, in about 10-15 seconds, the radio display will go completely black and the radio will reboot. This can come in handy when something goes crazy inside the radio. I've only had to use this a couple of times, but it is effective (and easier to do than coming to a stop and turning off the ignition, and opening a door).
