I have a 2015 Jeep GC with the eco diesel, with 42,000 miles on it. Just had the oil changed and am on a road trip with a travel trailer. 2,000 miles in and looks like it needs oil. Lots of hills and long pulls. Does that use more oil?

Assuming you use high-quality oil, no you still don't need it. You only have 2,000 so that would still be good.
Well, I put more oil in. I don’t know what the dealer put in when they did the oil change, but it showed low. I think it was due to a strain on the engine - heavy load, hills. thanks
