New to group here in SF Bay Area as just purchased a 15 Overland High Altitude 2 wheel drive with just 37,000 miles and is Certified Pre-Owned. Heard various comments from dealer and service dept about oil change interval with the 100% synthetic Chrysler oil. What do other owners think? BTW planning on mostly open highway miles not in any rugged commutes. Thanks

Update to above. Asked my local Jeep service manager about SB 18-078-16 Rev A (switch oil to 5-40) and he said it didn't apply to my 2015 even though the SB stated it applied to vehicles built on or before 6/30/16. He said that the SB was ONLY on the 2016 models built then! I want to switch to 5-40 now. Thoughts ?
That seems odd to me. I have a 2014 and the dealership I go to switched me to 5W-40 quite some time ago.
