Had a quick scan of the forum topics, don't think I found an exclusive thread for this. So since I'm curious I'll ask...

How much time in between oil changes do some of you typically wait before doing an oil change?

Since first buying my '15 OV EcoDiesel (approx. 9000 km/5500miles ago) I haven't done an oil change. The Instrument panel still shows about 35% oil life left. Coming from a gas vehicle, I'm used to the typical 'Change your oil every 5K'.

I'm interested to know how often some of you change your oil over.

Starting on Page 237 of the owners manual it states om page 237 do not exceed 10K mi between oil changes. On page 238 it says change the oil as indicated by the oil change indicator system. I think most folks are changing it every 10K mi. You should change the oil filter when you change the oil.

I have 31k miles changing the oil as indicated by the instrument panel gauge. This has typically been about 7k miles between oil changes. Keep in mind you want to change the oil before 8k miles if you use biodiesel B6 or above.
