Hey first of all im from the UK so i cant find much info here.

Im checking my oil level i pop the dipstick up a inch first thing in the morning and push it back down to take a reading. It reads between min and max.

I re enter it to check again and its way high like impossible to take a 2nd reading.

Ive still got warrenty and took it to the dealer who are useless anyway but said it was fine they looked.

Can you guys give me some advice.

Im on a 2016 WK2 CRD Overland.

Thanks Jonny

Pg 76 of the supplement manual does not really help
"Checking Oil Level To assure proper lubrication of your vehicle’s engine, the engine oil must be maintained at the correct level. Check the oil level at regular intervals. The best time to check the oil level is before starting the engine after it has been parked overnight. When checking oil after operating the engine, first ensure the engine is at full operating temperature, then wait for five minutes after engine shutdown to check the oil."

I have always checked it in the morning by pulling the dipstick and wiping it off. I usually wait about a minute before putting it back in and pulling it back out for a check. Just a habit i have from my Duramax that pulls oil up the dipstick tube and gives a false reading of over full.
