I recently had the AEM done and found out after getting home that the oil life had dropped to 0 and said I hadn't had an oil change in over 23,000 miles. I have seen other posts of people mentioning the same issue. But, it seems that they have been able to simply reset it using the 3x pedal press procedure. I have done this in the past, prior to AEM, and had no issues resetting the oil life. But, now I can't get it to work. Has anyone else experienced this issue? How did you solve it?

My last few oil changes, I have used the following sequence:
Turn to RUN without starting the engine by pressing start button twice with foot off the brake. Then depress gas pedal 3x within 10 seconds. Then press the brake pedal and start the engine.
It may not work the first time. It always takes me a few tries to get it to work.
