I just purchased my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel and i wanted to get more sound and maybe better performance out of it by removing the two resonators by the back bumper. So, after doing so i hardly noticed any sound difference also haven't noticed any positive performance so far. I have noticed a slight lower mpg though. Ive only had the resonators off for a day and i'm thinking about putting them back on. Whats your guys thoughts? Below are a couple photos. The muffler shop recommended removing it to remove restriction and improve flow.
