Hello everyone. I just ordered a Graphite GC Limited 75th Ann. Ed. w/ Diesel. The order was placed on 3/9 and I called today and got my VIN. Does anyone have an idea about what kind of waiting period I'm looking at this time of year? I know it varies greatly, depending on a fist full of issues. I'm guess around 6-10 weeks but have read stories of up to 6 months. I wasn't sure if diesel Jeeps took longer for a specific reason. I look forward to reading everyone's threads, comments, experience, etc...

Glad you're getting your new Jeep soon. I think you'll love it.

I ordered my 2016 Overland on 2/5, got the order no. on 2/8, VIN 2/9. It came out of build and went to final inspection on 3/1. They put it on a rail car at the factory on 3/11. It arrived at the dealer in Kansas City and I took delivery on 3/18.

Order to delivery time probably depends on the package, color and options ordered, how many customer orders are already on the line, and a bunch of other factors. Special orders go to the front of the line ahead of any being built just to go into dealer inventory.

My Jeep was delivered to the dealer last Tuesday. Unfortunately, my salesman, who is a personal friend, was in the D.R. for vacation all week. I pick it up after work tonight. I stopped by the dealer on Saturday. It looks sweet! I can't wait to get behind the wheel. I just hope I'm not disappointed going from an F150 to a GC.
