This is post-AEM.

When the tank was at about 25%, I put 5 gallons of DEF in (Peak brand) and noticed that the gauge did not go up. I thought maybe it needed time to update, but after driving 50-100 miles, it never budged. However, I did get a check engine light after all that driving. I have a simple code reader cable that I hook to a laptop and it gave me the P203E code, which looks to be a DEF Sensor.

I took it to my dealer and they confirmed the code and said the sensor can't be replaced on its own, but the entire tank has to be replaced--$3500--and it's backordered. They said driving it won't hurt anything, just monitor my mileage (to track DEF usage) and they'd let me know when parts are available. I commented that the new extended warranty should cover this (thankfully) but when I got home and looked at my paperwork they gave me after the AEM, under the DEF System, it does not say "DEF Sensor" specifically except it says DEF Concentration Sensor (2016 Ram & GC only.)

So, would this sensor be covered for my 2015 GC EcoDiesel?

The DEF Storage Tank is covered by the extended warranty. I would think if they have to replace it to replace the sensor, it would be covered by the extended warranty. I would definitely get that clarified though.

Everything I’ve had replaced after the AEM has been covered, though I purchased a bumper to bumper extended warranty when I initially bought the vehicle that is still in effect.
(SCR, DPF, Particulate Matter Sensor, DEF Injector).

Thanks. I'm hoping your interpretation is correct. Strangely, the CEL went off. But, my tank still reads 25% after I had put 5 gallons in. At worst, if working, it should read 5/8 or at least 1/2 since it's only been a few weeks.
