Pleasant surprise -- Free oil service four in four years

FYI... My Virginia selling dealer did not mention this MOPAR benefit. But, when I took my JGC EcoDiesel in to a Florida dealer for an oil service this week, I was informed that Fiat/Chrysler would cover four free oil/filter services during the initial four years of ownership. I added a tire rotation, so total cost for the first service was $19.95
BTW, I passed on the dealer filling the DEF tank. Filled it recently at a a Flying J that had "pump DEF" for $2.79/gallon. Might be worth asking about when due for an oil service.

Seriously? I was wondering about that when I purchased mine back in May....never said a word about any sort of maintenance plan. Have you found where it states this in writing? I'll be up for an oil change next month and would like to come in with paperwork before they try to tell me I'm SOL....thanks!
Pat, I have nothing in writing. As I mentioned, I bought the JGC ED in Virginia and had it serviced in Florida, so was not a case of selling dealer goodwill. The Florida service manager said that it was a MOPAR Free Service so the dealership would be reimbursed. Might be worth a phone call to some local CDJ service managers. Please post what you find out.
We payed a few...well 600 bucks for a "I love it package" which includes free oil changes and up to 2 fob replacements per year(no questions asked) for five years I figure we lose a key and get a couple of oil changes this year and it's payed for itself. They never mentioned anything about four free oil changes. Although to be honest my dealer didn't mention a lot of things and seemed a bit put off and irritated about any questions we asked. I would have gone somewhere else but there was no one around anywhere that had the car we wanted. Will definitely check in with corporate customer service and report back about the four for four thing.
I called Jeep's front office....they knew nothing about this promotion. Crap.

Up in Canada there is no such thing. Deale wants $57.00 just for a oil filter. Has anyone found an after market oil filter ?
