so as of recently when locking or unlocking my door my lock will not go all the way down, sometimes just shakes in place. If does decide to go down it will not come back up, I have to use my physical key to unlock my door. Has anyone else had this problem and or a simple resolution to it.

Not that I have experienced this, but a friend of mine has this exact same thing going on in his Toyota. The power lock on the driver's door doesn't operate, but the rest do. In his case, it was the motor for the power lock. I suspect it's probably the same thing here.
