Same observation. Had our cat replaced back in Jan. Went on a 5,300 mile trip and no problems/messages. 23,000+ on it now and everything is OK. Average 30+ MPG. DEF from Walmart.Ever since the majority of us got the new cat replacements, this forum has been fairly quiet....anyone else notice that?
Yes, I have also noted that. I am also aware that I have not been on this forum as much, lately, and that several of the early users have long been absent. It will be interesting to see if the tenor of posts here change over time as the early diesels, as mine has, finely all get new converters and software updates. I also monitor and occasionally post on a Corvette forum. The posts there tend to be more constructive, even when there is a problem. Of course, I cannot imagine there will ever be a Vette V-8 diesel. Interestingly, my Vette gets about the same gas mileage as my JGC diesel, but it only seats two and will not go off road, very far. In spite of the early JGC diesel problems, I can say, now, that it has turned out, finally, to be the car I wanted. I do agree that Jeep failed to adequately prepare for the diesel release. I also acknowledge that I broke my cardinal rule, "Never buy a first edition vehicle."Ever since the majority of us got the new cat replacements, this forum has been fairly quiet....anyone else notice that?
