Wonder if this was due to driver "not confirming in PARK before exiting".

"Anton Yelchin was struck by his Jeep Grand Cherokee

Yechlin was struck by his own Jeep Grand Cherokee, it has been revealed.

The car pinned the Star Trek actor against the gate of his LA home.

Images of the gate have emerged showing it bent and dented".
friends noticed Yelchin was missing around 1 am after he was late to a rehearsal. The actor was discovered pinned to his mailbox by his car at the bottom of a steep driveway at his San Fernando Valley home. The car was in neutral and the engine was still running, according to TMZ. Foul play is not suspected.

Saw this the other day, too. Totally saddened by the news. My new diesel (2014, never titled) still sits at the dealer on hold due to shifter recall. I was updated yesterday, by my salesman, the fix and parts are enroute to dealer...however not for the diesel! Please, if anyone gets a notice they're in or gets good info as to when fix will be done for diesel....please let me know. My dealer is estimated July or August at this point.
PS...love this forum!

I received my Recall info about 1 or 2 weeks, haven't gone to the stealership yet since it's just a software update to include an AutoPark feature. I got confortable very quickly with the way our shifter works and don't feel the need for that update anytime soon...

My diesel Jeep was the first one done by our dealership, a few weeks back.(the week after the actor was killed) I saw no real change from when I test drove my jeep before the software update till whenI finally got to pick it up. I am sure it would be a change for you, but really nothing significant.
