Yep, just got an Ecodiesel overland black on black. Have you guys installed a catch can? I'm looking into splicing one into the PCV line to keep that oil vapor from rolling down into the turbo.
Can't wait to see how this thing will perform over the years

Looks like we've got central Texas covered.....Dascrow/Austin to J300/North Richland Hills (Waco?)..I'm inbetween living in Round Rock and working in Temple. I wonder if there'd be interest in discussing dealership issues, specifically, it seems as though the DEF/catalytic converter issue is resolved differently depending on the delearship; e.g. some owners have had to pony up $3k while others have had success with their dealeler.

Cheers!

I'm between Austin, Longview, & Santa Barbara California. My dealership is in Longview, but will soon have to find one in Cali.

I've got 2200 miles on mine and it's in the shop for a CEL & Electronic Throttle Error.

Howdy iDiesel,
OK, throttle issue is new...there's a TSB dated 12/19 you might mention to the service folks to address the CEL. My condolences on the move to the weird coast--just got a new cat ordered..hope that's the last trip to the stealership for a while.

Newly designed catalytic converter. Many of the non-engine CEL ailiments have been traced to a poorly designed catalytic converter. Most of the folks who have gotten the 'new and improved' cat report an end to their woes

Check out the strings under Grand Cherokee Performance->Eco Diesel Check Engine Light. It details the long. sordid tale of what happens when a product is rushed to market without sound engineering practices. Understand I'm not hating on the GC, we absolutely love it. Banks bought a truck load of the 3.0's to use in development of their response to the Army's Humvee replacement RFP. They've gotten triple the HP output of that engine. I'm looking forward to stripping all that EPA crap off and putting a Banks aftermarket performace kit as soon as the warranty is done.
To your specific question, 4 CEL's in 2 weeks...the 4th 2 hrs after the 12/19 update. I guess they saw the Texas Lemon Law paperwork on the passenger seat....

Sounds about right. Rush a product to market to sell it, then worry about if it works or not after you get your money.

After your 12/19 update, what were the readings on your error codes?

P0172 (System to Rich) or P026D (O2 Sensor) ?

Houston here too. Just took a road trip to palo duro. Less then two tanks round trip at a "decent" speed. Averaged around 27-28 mpg. I want to get some arb lockers, armour, rock rails, hidden winch and fender flares. So far so good no issues. The main speakers quit out on me one day but I let it sit for a few hours and they came right back. Never happened again. Looking to do my own oil changes with filter, any advice?

I bought my jeep from river oaks but as it is too far I am forced to use Tomball and they have their pluses but be very careful and check the services they say they do. I have had issues in the past with them where I believed that the work was not performed.
