This site has been awful lol. I'm glad someone else feels the same away. It's just where people come to complain. That's why I stopped coming to your site and just check from time to time for posts like yours.

I'm beginning to 'doubt' some of the horror stories I see posted. Anything mechanical can be fixed or updated- if not 'it all comes back on a dealer that shouldn't be in business in the first place'!
I agree with you and the preceding posts above, but that is because, now, everything on my JGC works. A year ago, I was not so content. Now, I would like more than just complaints on this forum (sorry if that comes across as a complaint).

They always said 'don't buy 1st year of new model'. Seems true here- but I think all problems are worked out now. It comes down to a 'competent and customer oriented service department' that does what it takes to meet expectations and responsibilities of what they sell.

I must be one of the lucky ones. My 2014 GC Diesel has never had any mechanical issues. I have had a couple of things fixed under warranty (front wheel bearings and the blend door gears on the passenger side for the ventilation system) but I've never had the check engine light come on, no problems with the DEF system, no electrical problems (my previous Jeep, 2008 Liberty was horrible with electrical issues), but I have loved mine.
