My only experience with trailer brake controllers was with a friend who had an older F-350 diesel and I can't even remember if his controller was stock or aftermarket.

Do I need to add anything to my Jeep to control the trailer brakes? My friend had a setup where he could adjust the "strength' of the trailer's brakes on his dash (again, not sure if it was stock or aftermarket.) My dash has nothing.

I do have the towing package. I recently bought a used enclosed cargo trailer that has brakes, but I haven't been able to tell if it's helping with braking or if it's all on the Jeep.

Never mind on my question. The "similar threads" section it showed below my post showed a thread on this subject. I am curious, though, if the MOPAR controller shows any information on the infotainment screen?
