2014 Limited Diesel 4X2 with tow: I have seen nothing to indicate that it does. As far as I know its wiring, hitch, larger alternator, automatic air rear shocks and regular size spare. plus a pig tail in the glove compartment and a receiver cap that says jeep. But engine or transmission temp can be displayed on the dash which is a plus. The manual says that the towing capacity for a non factory installed hitch is 3500 pounds so perhaps it's handled without an actual transmission cooler being added ..... Then perhaps it is there. You said Cherokee, if you don't mean Grand I know nothing.

Thanks much. It is a GC, and we will have the factory tow IV package. We will tow a 21 foot travel trailer (if it ever gets above freezing again!) weighing in at about 4300 pounds fully loaded. I would be interested to know if you or others would recommend adding an after-market transmission cooler.

It's something to keep in mind. But I feel comfortable with it the way it is. I plan on going south when the dogwood starts to bloom but that's a ways off yet. But if the weather breaks and I get a chance I will burn a little oil. I'm hoping to see 20 mpg. But I would settle for 18.

I left the "heavy duty engine cooling" off as an oversight. But my understanding was that was addition of a mechanical cooling fan vs electric. I have no reason to doubt MDbones. Prior to him I have seen nothing to indicate one was included.

I'm thinking all diesels might have the mechanical fan anyway. Kinda like the block heater issue.

That was easy... I just went out and looked. There is what appears to be a transmission cooler mounted in front of the radiator.... And the radiator appears to be heavy duty.
