What do you do about this? Just got this message last night on the way home from work. 5200 miles on the clock. Navigation says that I am 150 miles away from where I am actually at (pretty cool to drive on the ocean!).
Noticed the red light was on on the rearview mirror for the Assist.
I registered with UConnect the day after getting the Jeep and never had a problem until yesterday.
Radio and USB still work. Navigation, is way off like I said.
I bought the Jeep in September and assembly date for it was May, so relatively new. Had 6 miles on it when I bought it.
What do I need (info/TSB etc) to take to the dealer. They have only sold 3 diesels and am sure they know nothing about UConnect.
Any thoughts.

Make sure you are updated to Uconnect version 14.25.5 which has enhancements to reduce the red warning screen. It can still occur since it happens when the built in Sprint radio loses cell signal. The dealer can do the update or you can do it yourself with a USB flash drive and the apropriate files.

I have tried to perform this update, myself. I believe that I have properly loaded my USB memory stick, but when I plug it into my USB drive as directed I get a message, something to the effect that it is not recognized. I use a Mac and Safari, it does load as directed. I plug it into the USB drive in the compartment under the center stack. Any advice?

Make sure the USB flash drive is formated as FAT32. Re-format if necessary. The USB flash drive can be 1GB to 16GB in size. If your update file has an .iso file extension, just copy it to the root of a blank flash drive. If it's an .exe extension, its compressed and you will need a third part utility to extract it to the .iso file format. Then copy it to the blank USB flash drive.

Thanks, not sure I understand all that, but I'll give it a try.

Correction...1GB to 16GB flash drives are accepted.

Mac users are shielded from things like file formats and such since everything is simplified to one click. I'm sure their is a way to view the properties of a flash drive to determine it's size and file system type. I'm sorry I don't have the experience to offer any tips. Perhaps a Mac user can chime in and help.
