My dealer charges 140. So for about 40 more. I can get it done, logged in the system and the VIN checked for updates that they will install at no charge. Would I change my own to save 80......... maybe. But since they gave me my first one free I'm going to think of the first two at 70 each.

I'm not sure this synthetic stuff is even technical "Oil"..... But even the stuff that comes out of the ground has been "discussed' passionately ever since I can remember. But we are only talking about three or at the most four ( in my case two more ) oil changes to cover the 35000 mile warranty. Why risk the warranty for a few dollars. And those that have purchased extended warranties have already demonstrated that they are willing to pay to let the dealer handle it. After seeing the debacle with the DEF I will not even use an additive. Let alone a substitute.
